Scones
Ingredients
- 225g strong white flour.
- 5ml baking powder.
- 1ml salt.
- 25g caster sugar.
- 50g butter, diced and cold.
- 150ml full fat milk.
Directions
- Preheat fan oven to 180°C.
- Put everything but the milk into the food processor and pulse to make bread crumbs.
- Add the milk until a dough is formed.
- Roll into a big circle, about 2cm thick.
- Bake at 220°C.
Delicious warm from the oven with fruit jam (we like raspberry) and whipped cream, or just with a cup of tea.
