This makes twice as much as you need in Apple rustica. Freeze what you don't use!
Italian Shortcrust Pastry
Ingredients
- 225g plain flour
- 100g icing sugar
- 125g salted butter, chilled
- 2 large egg yolks
- 30ml water
Directions
- Put everything but the water and yolks into blender and mix to a coarse meal
- Add the eggs and water and mix to a ball.
- Flatten and encase in grease proof paper.
Chill for at least an hour.
