This is why proper food processors and blenders have a hole in the lid!
Mayonnaise
Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk.
- 5ml mustard powder.
- 5ml white wine vinegar or lemon juice.
- 200ml vegetable oil.
Method
- Separate egg and put the yolk into the food processor or blender.
- Add the mustard and acid - you need one of these.
- Start the machine, and start adding the oil, 10ml or so at a time until each is well blended.
