This I tried as an expirement because I wanted something light and tasty in a hurry, something that would fill my mouth without breaking my jaw :). A play on flavours from the usual cheddar and branston sandwich.
Posh cheese and pickle sandwich
Ingredients
- 1 thin slice of 100% wholemeal bread, fresh baked or a day old.
- 3 slices thin cut wenselydale cheese to fit half the slice of bread.
- 2.5-5ml Rhubarb, Apple, and Ginger Chutney.
Directions
- Cut slice of bread in half.
- Layer cheese on one half.
- Spread chutney on the other half.
Lovely with a bit of cucumber.
