Bread and butter pudding

A great way to use up left overs. Big serving for one or a small serving for two.

Ingredients

  • 50g left over bread, cut to fit bowl being used.
  • 15ml light muscovado sugar
  • 30ml sultanas
  • 75g milk
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Beat milk, egg, and sugar together. An electric blender is great for this.
  2. Layer bread with fruit.
  3. Pour over the egg mix when layers are completed.
  4. Cook for 1 minute at 1000W. Wait a minute. Cook for a further minute. The idea is most of the liquid gets absorbed by the bread.

Eat out of the bowl or split into two servings.
