Bread and butter pudding
A great way to use up left overs. Big serving for one or a small serving for two.
Ingredients
- 50g left over bread, cut to fit bowl being used.
- 15ml light muscovado sugar
- 30ml sultanas
- 75g milk
- 1 egg
Directions
- Beat milk, egg, and sugar together. An electric blender is great for this.
- Layer bread with fruit.
- Pour over the egg mix when layers are completed.
- Cook for 1 minute at 1000W. Wait a minute. Cook for a further minute. The idea is most of the liquid gets absorbed by the bread.
Eat out of the bowl or split into two servings.
