This is a great consistency but really bland - lemon juice helps but wondering about smoked paprika or maybe chilli!
Hummus
Ingredients
- 45-60ml tahini, stirred.
- 300g tinned chickpeas, drained.
- A pinch of salt (if none in chickpeas).
- 1 garlic clove.
- 30g lemon juice.
- 15ml olive oil.
Directions
- Using the "blender" blade on the body of the food processor, put all the ingredients in the bowl.
- Blend on a medium speed until smooth.
- Add hot water if it gets too stuck, too firm.
Serve with dough balls, pita bread, or crackers.
