This is a great consistency but really bland - lemon juice helps but wondering about smoked paprika or maybe chilli!

Hummus

Ingredients

  • 45-60ml tahini, stirred.
  • 300g tinned chickpeas, drained.
  • A pinch of salt (if none in chickpeas).
  • 1 garlic clove.
  • 30g lemon juice.
  • 15ml olive oil.

Directions

  1. Using the "blender" blade on the body of the food processor, put all the ingredients in the bowl.
  2. Blend on a medium speed until smooth.
  3. Add hot water if it gets too stuck, too firm.

Serve with dough balls, pita bread, or crackers.
