Banana and berry smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 medium ripe banana, cut into pieces. (Optional but makes the consistency much smoother).
  • 460ml frozen mixed berries.
  • 390ml plain yogurt.
  • 115ml semi-skimmed milk.

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into hand blender beaker and whizz up.

Split between two glasses. This has a lot of energy in it, great after exercise. It is very cold - worth letting it warm for 5 minutes at room temperature, either before or after mixing.
