Baked Basque Cheese cake
Not tried yet. Adapted from Baked cheesecake with cherries.
Ingredients
Cheesecake
- 400g cream cheese
- 112g caster sugar
- 22.5ml plain flour
- 100g sour cream
- 2 medium eggs
- 5ml vanilla extract
Sauce
- 100ml frozen mixed berries
- 30ml water
Directions
- Heat the oven to 240°C.
- Butter a 23cm, deep, loose bottom tin and line with paper.
- Whisk together the cream cheese and sugar for 2 minutes, add the flour eggs and vanilla whisk until smooth and pour into the tin.
- Bake for 20 minutes then drop the oven temperature down to 180°C and cook for another 20 minutes, cool.
- Make the sauce
- Put ingredients into microwavable jug.
- Heat on full power for 2 minutes.
Cut the cake into slices per serving and pour over the sauce on to the individual slice to taste.
