This makes twice as much as you need in [[Apple Rustica]]. Freeze what you don't use!

= Italian Shortcrust Pastry =
== Ingredients ==
* 225g plain flour
* 100g icing sugar
* 125g salted butter, chilled
* 2 large egg yolks
* 30ml water

== Directions ==
# Put everything but the water and yolks into blender and mix to a coarse meal
# Add the eggs and water and mix to a ball.
# Flatten and encase in grease proof paper.

Chill for at least an hour.
