We call this heart attack on a plate and have it once a year.  It's rich, relatively low washing up and fills you up.  Do not plan a second course with this meal.  Serves two.

= Home made lasagne =
== Ingredients ==
* 250g mince
* 135g fresh [[Lasagna or spaghetti or tagaltelli | lasagna]]
* 1 onion
* 1.5 tins of chopped tomato
* basil to taste
* 1 glove of garlic
* paprika to taste
* 100g cheddar cheese, grated
* 20g parmesan, grated
* 180g tub philadephia cheese (original)

== Directions ==
# Fry onion in some oil.  Add mince and herbs and cook until mince changes colour.
# Put a layer of mince in a small bread tin
# Sprinkle half the cheddar, add half the philly in discrete spoons sized dollops
# Pour in half the canned tomatoes
# Cut a lasagne sheet to fit
# Repeat steps 2-5
# Sprinkle on the parmesan.

Cook for 25-30 mins at 170&deg;C in a fan oven.  Divide into two and place on plate.  Serve with peas.
