= Home made dry ginger ale =
== Ginger decoction ==
=== Ingredients ===
* 100ml water.
* 50g whole root ginger, grated.  Keep the skin on, it will make it more gingery.
* 1 whole clove.

== Soda water ==

* 1.5l chilled carbonated water.

== Directions ==
# Make the ginger decoction.
## Grate ginger into 500ml microwavable jug.
## Add clove and 100ml water.
## Heat at 1000W until boiling, start with 2 minutes.
## Microwave for 3.5 minutes at 660W.
## Steep for 10 minutes.
## Strain out the bits to leave the decoction.
# Add 20ml decoction to 330ml of chilled carbonated water.

Serve into individual glasses, with some ice and a straw.
