Who is Sam?
Sam J Watkins is a Programme Manager for BT’s Strategic University Research Programme.
Sam is a computer scientist with 14 years experience in diverse computer technologies. She has been involved in the successful migration of a major billing platform. More recently she has developed a corporate video sharing application using open source components with proprietary corporate portals.
She currently leads the strategy for using Web 2 tools to support BT’s university programme.

I can’t take the credit, I was reading a film review in the Observer and it was either a direct quote or I mashed it together. It seemed to sum up what I was trying to do with my blog site.

Hi Sam,
I can report that my surname is ranked 7795th 
although I suspect that is a bit a bit misleading because it appears to be missing out parts of the country (and former parts of the country - i.e. Ireland) where there are people of the same name - so you win.
